Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Takit at takit.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Takit is an AI assistant. It answers questions, searches the web, generates images and video, and carries out multi-step tasks. Answers and generated content are produced by AI models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Check important information before relying on it.

2. Your account

• You sign in with your email address or a Google account. Keep access to them secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account settings.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
• create sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses, threatens or impersonates real people;
• generate malware, or try to attack, overload or get around the limits or security of the Service;
• resell or share access to your account, or use automated means to access the Service without our permission.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

You keep the rights to what you put into the Service and, as far as the law allows, to what it generates for you. You give us permission to process your content only to provide and improve the Service as described in the privacy notice. You are responsible for how you use generated content.

5. Plans, usage limits and payment

• The Free plan includes a daily usage allowance. Paid plans (Pro and Max) include a larger monthly allowance and extra features, as shown on the pricing section.
• Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, sales tax and VAT. Its terms also apply to your purchase.
• We may change prices or plan features. Price changes apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you in advance.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering the Service, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
